CDC Grant Films:
In 2022, NMN-TV was included in a large CDC grant to combat COVID-19 vaccine misinformation and increase confidence in the vaccine among vulnerable and hesitant communities and populations. Administered by AACN, funding went to 10 nursing schools around the country. We interviewed principal investigators, students and community partners of the grant recipients.
 

Distributed widely, our films document student training in motivational interviewing, social media and other techniques, and actual community outreach where faculty and students counter myths with facts to persuade people to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
